E-Snaps

The Benchmark family grows with the addition of E-Snaps. Quick and gritty, E-Snaps’ rhymes echo the Harlem streets that raised him. Roots in Britain and Barbados rattle inside his sound as well, adding another level of energy and connection to his wordplay. Snaps landed in Harlem as a child where he met Dame Grease, neighbor and future collaborator. Grease gave him his name and played beats for him as he ran the streets. From his first appearance on Grease's Live on Lenox with Meeno and Bigga Threat to his recent release, “Welcome 2 Harlem,” on the Wave Gang 8 mixtape featuring Max B and French Montana, Snaps has made his name among the uptown underground. He takes his place at Benchmark with ease, intensifying its hometown sound.
